Everton have submitted an offer of £40 million plus an additional £5 million add-on clause to Chelsea for the signature of Conor Gallagher. The move comes just hours after the club appointed manager Sean Dyche to replace Frank Lampard.

However, Gallagher has no intention of leaving Chelsea this winter. The England international is ready to stay at Stamford Bridge to compete for the position. However, if Chelsea successfully recruit Enzo Fernandez for a fee of £106 million from Benfica, Gallagher could be allowed to leave.
Selling a young player he trained himself like Gallagher would bring huge profits to Chelsea. But the 22-year-old does not want to move to a club ranked outside the top six in the Premier League.
